CAVIDOTTO Φ50

CAVIDOTTO PIPES are high-density polyethylene (HDPE) double-walled cable protection pipes.

They are used in underground electrical and telecommunication installations.

They consist of two plus extruded (co-extruded) walls, structured externally for greater impact resistance.
They have less weight and more flexibility and are smooth internally to facilitate the passage of cables.

The two walls due to the production process (plus extrusion) are impossible to separate.

Construction:

The Structured Double Wall Pipe is made of high density polyethylene and UV protection for underground electrical and telephone cables.

It is made of two structured walls: the outer wall is spiral to ensure greater resistance to deformation and elasticity.

The inner wall is smooth to facilitate the insertion of the cables. Manufactured according to CEI EN 50086-1 (CEI 23-39), CEI EN 50086-2-4 (CEI 23-46).

Application:

Highly demanding protection for electrical and telephone installations.

Suitable for all types of underground electricity & signaling networks with exceptional strength and great flexibility.
Additional external protection for water or gas pipes.

Specifications :

• Temperature resistance: -25o C/ +60oC
• Minimum radius of curvature: 8 times the outer diameter.
• Deformation resistance: > 450 N with a deformation of the inner diameter equal to 5% (in accordance with EN 50086-2-4 CEI. 23-46).
• Maximum cable guide elastic strength: > 650 N
• Packing: Rolls 50m, bars 6m (for D 200mm available in 25m)
• Accessories: Each coil also contains a guide (steel) for easy pulling of the cable, connector (socket).
  An elastic ring for airtight sealing is available as an option
• Dielectric strength: > 800 kv/cm.
• Electrical insulation resistance: > 100 M Ω.
• Exterior color: red with black interior.
• Composition: Polyethylene: 97%, dyes: 2%, admixtures (UV protection): 1%
